Very Happy with Purchase
From Anonymous of EL, Michigan on 12/14/2016.
My tween needs background noise to sleep, and this is great for that purpose. She had been listening to Alice and Wonderland, but after a couple of years, decided she wanted something else. She has read the unabridged version of this book (I got her Baum by Dahm a couple years ago), and when I told her this was available she asked for it. She was thrilled when she realized it was the same voice as her Alice audiobook. She has been listening to the Wizard of Oz every night since.
A Great Listen at Work
From Anonymous of Minneapolis, Minnesota on 4/27/2015.
This telling of the classic tale is above par from what I had expected. Having only seen the movie I was unaware there was even more to the story so imagine my surprise when I get to listen to scenes of which I was previously unaware! What I was most pleased with in terms of this audio book was the voice acting. Each character had very unique idiosyncrasies and was superbly acted. I would especially suggest this audio book for those looking to be entertained on a car ride or whilst in the routines . . .
Excellent for long car rides with the kid(s)
From YS of Alameda, California on 10/22/2014.
The story is excellent and the reading is superb. Even though it is read by one person each character has a unique voice that makes the story easy to follow and enjoyable. My daughter listens to it over and over on long car rides and loves the way the story is told getting into all the various characters. Well worth it!
